Very enjoyable, balanced, and style-accurate imo. As a Saaz lover, that's prolly helping out a lot for my tastes. Despite being a nice ABV, the mouthfeel is a bit thin and watery somehow. Otherwise this one is pretty great!

On draught at Big Oyster Brewery, LewesBeach, DE.
Pours a cloudy copper amber color. A modest foam head dissipates and yields rings of lacing.
The nose is malt forward, bready, toasty and with a touch of caramelized and roasted malts. There is a touch of hops aromas, floral and earthy.
Taste aligns with the aroma, malty and toasty with moderate sweetness. Flavors of biscuit, crisp cracker, and caramel. Nicely spiced with floral, grassy and earthy flavors, lightly peppery yeast, and lemony hops. Hops bitterness is gentle to moderate.
Medium bodied with a moderately crisp mouthfeel. The finish is dry and also crisp. The carbonation is moderate to lively.
Nicely done Festbier/Oktoberfest. Well balanced and easy to drink. I would have again.

Nice copper color with good clarity, two finger pillowy head pulled from the tap.
The aroma is toasted malts and grain, faint sweetness and a spiciness from the hops.
The taste follows the nose. The toasted malts and caramel sweetness are there, though not all that developed. There is a silliness there that muscles the hop finish.
