Poured a pint can into a clear Imperial pint glass. The liquid that fell is a murky dirty blond color with a bit of sort of biege hue to the head and lacing. The nose doesn't pick up much and the label says "subtle" in describing the flavors. A bit more flavor for the mouth. There is just a little more than a hint of peppermint and it gives the brew sort of a menthol characteristic. It’s an interesting and pleasant taste and feeling, like a cooling effect. Subtle is good, because a little of this goes a long way. All the other components are well done; the body is sufficient, there's a little hop inclusion and it isn't too sweet or minty. Not session material, but a real nice change of pace, on the unique side of the ledger.

Pours a hazy yellow orange color. A moderate foam head quickly dissipates and leaves rings.
The nose opens with fruity notes of pineapple and grapefruit. Aromas of vanilla add sweetness while the peppermint adds a touch of spice. Malty aromas of biscuity and cookie dough are complimented by notes of piney hops.
Bright and citrusy flavors of grapefruit rind, orange pith and tropical notes of pineapple and guava. Subdued notes of vanilla and peppermint add a unique touch to what is otherwise a straight forward IPA. Notes of piney and peppery hops add a herbal touch amidst a dry cracker malt base. The finish is dry with a grapefruit rind bitterness.
Medium bodied with a mostly smooth mouthfeel. The carbonation was moderate to gentle. Easy to drink.
A pleasant surprise. The adjunct spices complimented, instead of overwhelming, the IPA base.
