Pours a somewhat hazy dark gold with a small but very persistent head. Smell is great citrusy hops. Sort of sweet smelling even. Oranges for sure. Tastes is sweet pretty much throughout with also a big hop flavor throughout. The dreamsicle name fits. But when I gave this to my wife she complain it was too "IPA-ish". The description on the menu includes the word "dank" and that fits too. It tastes like a dank hop orange dreamsicle, which, as it turns out, is a very good taste. There's some detectable booze in the finish too. Where the beer doesn't work is in drinkability. It's just too sweet and heavy that it becomes cloying. Overall, it's a mixed bag- great as part of a flight, not so great as a growler.

From the can it pours a clear orange color. A moderate head quickly dissipates, while a frothy layer of film retains.

For the nose, the combination of citrus pulp and lactose make it smell like an orange cream soda; very sweet and with a hint of a booziness that’s not quite appealing. Aromas of pine and grass add an herbal touch.

Very sweet, juicy and boozy from the start, with notes of orange pulp and creamy lactose sugars. The body is lighter than expected given the ABV, more medium than full, with a sticky and cola like quality; tastes like Fanta. The carbonation is moderate. The somewhat balancing factors are the alcohol spice that’s a bit boozy and cloying in its syrupy sweetness, and the grassy piney hops that pack a bitterness that doesn’t quite mesh with the malts. The finish is dry and bitter with a boozy aftertaste.

I kind of regret buying a 4 pack of this. Too sweet and too much like orange cream soda. It does however pack an alcohol punch, so I will reserve it for the next time I want a quick buzz.
