Dull black with a shiny red layer at the bottom, and a large, tan creamy head that retains well and leaves a major league wall of coral lacing.
Smell is overwhelmingly potent of what seems like amaretto and cherry extracts.
Taste is where the nuts come through, which is primarily that of maple glazed pecans, from front to back, lingering on the swallow--it's kind of artificial. However, that odd amaretto and cherry is also present in taste, and is interrupted by a woody, bitter finish.
Body is medium, softly frothy, finishing dry and chewy.
