Burnt brown-copper with a creamy off-white collar.
Smell is toasted nuts with a hint of roastiness, wine grapes and vanilla.
A medium body hits the palate with a soft froth exhibiting big phenolic spices, nutty toast and a hint of grape, finishing dry.
As opposed to some of their other flavored beers, the grape wasn't overboard and actually was barely present, which is a good thing as this was more like beer and less like someone dropped their Kool-Aid packet in my drink.
