I got a can of this beer off the single shelf from my local Giant Eagle store. It poured an opaque dark with thin off white head that is not leaving any lace. The scent had weak coconut notes. The taste was nicely balanced and easy to drink with slightly acid coconut presence. The mouthfeel was lighter in body with good carbonation. Overall its a decent beer.

12 ounce can into tulip glass, unreadable can dating. Pours opaque dark brown/black color with a 1-2 finger dense and rocky khaki head with fantastic retention, that reduces to a nice cap that lasts. Thick soapy lacing clings on the glass, with a fair amount of streaming carbonation. Fantastic appearance. Aromas of milk/dark chocolate, cocoa, coffee, caramel, brown sugar, roasted nuts, toasted coconut, vanilla, cream, biscuit, and dark bread; with lighter notes of molasses, toffee, dark fruit, smoke, charcoal, wood, grass, herbal, pepper, pine, and yeast/roast/toasted earthiness. A bit too fruity/yeasty aromas, but not overwhelming. Nice and pleasant aromas with good balance and complexity of dark/black/roast/bready malt, coffee, vanilla, toasted coconut, and light-moderate earthy hop notes; with solid strength. Taste of big milk/dark chocolate, cocoa, coffee, caramel, brown sugar, roasted nuts, toasted coconut, vanilla, cream, biscuit, and dark bread; with lighter notes of molasses, toffee, dark fruit, smoke, charcoal, wood, grass, herbal, pepper, pine, and yeast/roast/toasted earthiness. Light-moderate pine, herbal, woody, grassy, peppery hop; and roast/charcoal bitterness on the finish. Lingering notes of milk/dark chocolate, cocoa, coffee, caramel, brown sugar, roasted nuts, toasted coconut, vanilla, cream, biscuit, dark bread, molasses, toffee, dark fruit, smoke, charcoal, wood, grass, herbal, pepper, pine, and yeast/roast/toasted earthiness on the finish for a while. Great complexity, robustness, and balance of dark/black/roast/bready malt, coffee, vanilla, toasted coconut, and light-moderate earthy hop flavors; with a great hop/char bitter/sweet balance; and no cloying, acrid, astringent flavors after the finish. Lightly increasing dryness from lingering hop/char bitterness. Medium carbonation and medium-plus body; with a very smooth, creamy/silky/bready, and fairly sticky/chalky mouthfeel that is great. Minimal warming alcohol for 6.3%. Overall this is a delicious flavored American porter. All around nice complexity, robustness, and balance of dark/black/roast/bready malt, coffee, vanilla, toasted coconut, and light-moderate earthy hop flavors; very smooth and easy to drink with the modestly bitter/charred/drying finish. Awesome balance of rich malts, toasted coconut, vanilla, and fruity/nutty coffee complexity; with balancing earthy hops against sweetness. A very enjoyable offering, and impressive spot on American style example. Not overwhelming on any aspect.

Best by 6/18/19. 12oz can poured into a tulip. Pours a dark brown, almost black, with a khaki head that falls leaving great retention and sticky lacing. The aromas are malt forward along with some hints of cocoa, coconut and vanilla. Some sweet floral and tropical notes. The coffee isn't noticeable in the aroma department. The flavors basically follow the nose, but are a bit bolder. More coconut leading the way. More hints of cocoa and vanilla. Subtle coffee notes in the finish. Malts do their thing. It's ultimately bittersweet. Alcohol goes unnoticed. Mouthfeel is medium-bodied with moderate to active carbonation. It's sharp, smooth and easy to drink.
This is a solid porter. The coconut shines. The vanilla is noticeable. The coffee takes a backseat. It's enjoyable stuff.

Coconut aftertaste is fresh with the classic chocolate and coffee notes of a porter.

Dark brown body and nice tan head in whatever glasses the brewery uses. That was the high point.
The coconut taste was ok and there was a bit of chocolate but this was underwhelming as far as smell and taste went. Mouthfeel was fine but this was a bit of a disappointment overall.

Matte blackish-brown with a thick tan nitro head.
Smell is exclusively sun tan lotion, and taste is much the same with a little chocolate as well as white chocolate. Some bitter cocoa is present, but unfortunately so is some bitter veg. Coconut comes across as oddly dried and aged, yet there's also a bit of a cola note.
The thin-medium body is smooth but carbonation is thin and the finish is dry.
