This is the first beer I have had from there since the new brewer. Definitely an improvement but still a way to go. The haze looks pretty good though and it does give me some confidence in what is to come.

Bold tropical fruit and citrus aroma, pours a nearly opaque orange with just a ring of white foam. Flavor is a blast of citrus, pith, and a touch of mango. There's a decent amount of malt backbone through the center to support the hops, There's a full rich mouthfeel, and a mild pithy bitter finish. Not a bad take on the NE IIPA.

They call this a "Murky Imperial IPA". Canned on 6/5/18. 12oz can poured into a tulip. Pours a hazy and cloudy light yellowish golden; very small white head that fades quickly leaving decent retention and lacing. The aromas have a nice blend of citrus and tropical fruits. Some floral notes. Some malts and crackers. The flavors follow the nose for the most part. Some pineapple, lemon and grapefruit. Some pine and fresh grass. Nice moderate bitterness. Malts do their thing. Finishes juicy. Alcohol goes unnoticed for the most part. Mouthfeel is on the lighter side of full-bodied with moderate carbonation.
This is a solid DIPA. It's more or less what you would expect from a "New England IPA". Nice hop aromas and flavors. It might not be anything super crazy, but it's enjoyable and fun to drink. I like it.

This is a weird AIPA (DAIPA). It has a quirky name, it is from a lesser known small local brewer, it's a quirky version of the style.
It pours a very hazy light yellow with just a bit of lacing and fizz. The aroma is hoppy and slightly funky. The taste is mostly bitter, with less of the New England dryness than some of the style, but it also feels bigger and maltier.
Recommended, but not a good value.
