Known for its velvety smooth richness, this coffee stout is carefully crafted with notes of creamy vanilla, indulgent peanut butter, and a bold, roasty kick from Brazilian coffee. Each sip balances sweet, rich flavors with the deep warmth of robust coffee, creating a brew that’s as comforting as it is flavorful.

Surprised I never reviewed this. Pint can, pours a chestnut brown with a solid finger of foam, plenty of lacing. Strong smells of fudgey peanut butter and cocoa with some underlying vanilla and coffee. The taste follows. It is a luxurious, smooth, fudgey drink. The coffee and vanilla are definitely undercurrents to those stronger flavors here. I get them in the aftertaste more than anything. Good malty quality balances out the sweetness of the ingredients. Mid-bodied, easy to drink stout.
Didn't expect this to be reviewed so highly! This is probably the most identifiable PB stout in the (local) area, affordable and accessible. I have had some of the other variants built upon this base and they are highlights of this brewery to me.

Saucy does a pretty good job at peanut butter stuff honestly. I remember being pleasantly surprised by the cookies and cream variant of this beer. I like this a good bit, not super coffee heavy. Good sweet boi

I know I had one of these at one time or another, but I hadn't reviewed it. I am a big fan of Saucy. This sample is not likely to be fresh (it was a gift).
This one pours a gorgeous black with a nice pancake head. The aroma is a strong ale-coffee-peanut butter blend. Big aroma. The taste is similar but slightly tamed. Big on peanut butter. It sits easily on the tongue - it feels smaller than some similar brews.
Recommended. Saucy comes up with good things, and this one is a nice, flavorful stout that won't count as having two brews (1.5, though). It may be better fresh.

Looks like a stout
Smells very nutty and roasted malts
Taste has a strange metallic tinge that detract from an otherwise delightful roasted malt and by stout. Not getting much coffee or vanilla but my palate struggles to decipher that many flavors
Feel is a bit tinny. I get this a lot from this brewer which is too bad because they make some really interesting beers. They just always leave a taste like chewing aluminum foil

The color now within a clear glass liter mug is a dark caramel, reminiscent of Coca-Cola. The glass got that way because two 12 oz. cans of this were emptied into it. What's not Coca-Cola like is the enduring tan head and an incredible peanut butter aroma. This may be as peanut buttery as any beer can get. The vanilla might be helping out, but it's barely noticed. What is noticed is the roasted malt finish to close this one out. Not that it's overly sweet, but the finish really comes off cleanly because of that. It's here that the coffee probably helps. With enough glass lacing to boost the appearance, this comes through as a bona fide treat and worthy of the high scores. But, only visit this one if you love peanut butter. Now that desert is finished, let's go find dinner.

I got a can of this beer off the single shelf from my local Giant Eagle store. It poured an opaque dark with ecru head that is leaving some lace. The scent had strong chocolate peanut butter cup notes. The taste was nicely balanced and easy to drink with chocolate malt base and peanut flare....with a odd stringent bitter streak starting at the middle of the drink. The mouthfeel was medium in body and had good carbonation. Overall it is a good beer.

Served in a snifter
This beer pours black and is topped with a minimal tan head that leaves spotty lacing.
I get peanut butter right away. The vanilla and coffee come off as coffee and cream.
The taste has just the right amount of peanut butter. It is a focal point but not overwhelming. The coffee and vanilla are fantastic compliments to the peanut butter.
Full bodied with a smooth mouthfeel
This is a pretty impressive beer. It is a little sweeter than my favorite coffee peanut butter beer. I like it.

A wonderful merging of vanilla, peanut butter and coffee. All of the flavors shine through in this terrific stout. I've had other Saucy offerings that didn't quite hit the mark with me but this is an absolute gem of a stout. Its Just too bad that its a seasonal offering.
