Tall can poured into a tulip-like glass, this one is a strong orange color with a thick, white, bubbly head. It is completely opaqe. Strong aromas of hops and tropical fruits emerge on the nose. The taste is... interesting. It is strongly bitter up front, a little flat in some odd way, but then followed by an undercurrent of mango. Dry in the mouth but warming in the belly. Would be a good "I just finished mowing the lawn" sort of beer if it wasn't a one-off.
I know this is the lowest-rated of the six hop fest beers, but it's still not bad. It was also my mistake with the last one - this is the second to last of the mixed four pack I had yet to taste.
