L: Transparent gold with a beautiful bright white head that looks like marshmallow fluff. Fantastic lacing (draught).

S: Smells really good. I can smell the hops and malt, not much else. Maybe slightly piney.

T: Taste is solid, fantastic for Red Hook (not normally a big fan). Hops and a caramel malt dominate the palate but there is definitely an orange/mango note in there too. This literally tastes and looks like they took a killer IPA from Stoneface and mixed it 50/50 with a basic lager from Red Hook (I know they didn't). It is a more commercial tasting beer but just special enough to make you want to order another. Extremely drinkable.

F: They nailed the feel of this one. Nice and round with a wet finish and medium carbonation. The head is very creamy for the first steps.

Overall I ordered a beer from a place I almost am never impressed by and was kind of impressed by this brew. It's a very drinkable beer with a little sweetness to it that would appeal to almost anyone. It doesn't lean in any particular direction. A little hops, some caramel to mellow it out and some orange and mango (mostly orange) to give it that fresh taste. Flaked oats would have done wonders for this beer I suspect but Red Hook doesn't really get into that unfortunately. Still not a big fan of Redhook but they have a great collab on their hands.

Poured in a 20 oz glass on draft at the Holy Grail in Laconia NH. Pours a bright clear yellow, with a 1 inch sticky white head, that leaves behind loads of lace.

Smell mango, papaya, passion fruit, honey dew, pine, and grapefruit.

Taste follows mango, honey dew, papaya, passion fruit upfront with pine and grapefruit in well balanced finish.

Mouthfeel is almost medium, plenty of life, not really dry, and at 8.2% very crazy drinkable.

Overall this is very tropical more mellon than any DIPA I have ever had.
