Black colored body, with a medium brown back lit edge. Barely any froth or head upon pouring. Leaves behind some oily sheen but no lacing.
Aroma of alcohol and barrel.
Taste is dark roasted malts and dark chocolate that is flummoxed by raw barrel alcohol. Dry and woody at the end.
Thinner mouth feel. Low carbonation.
A real bastard of the north that enters your mouth and does a pile driver on your taste buds. Quite raw and uncivilized.
