Half Brothers Harvester Of Sour Fruited Gose, 5% ABV. Pours slightly hazy gold, with a nice 2.5 finger white head that left no lacing. Nose is a nice berry mashup, with nothing specific standing out. Taste follows, more tart than sweet, but refreshing, not puckering. Decent mouthfeel, overall excellent.

 

This beer pours a pale amber with a fairly large head. The aroma offer an appropriate melange of berry fruits, raspberry, blueberry, blackberry, with some stemmy green qualities as well. The flavor is bright and fresh upfront, with cherry, blackberry, watermelon, boysenberry - really just a lot of fresh and freeze dried fruit, with a hint of salt and a hint of fresh bread malt that gives a sense of weight. The mouthfeel is quite full, with bold foamy carbonation. Overall, I was somewat skeptical from the aroma that this would be rather simple, but the flavor and full, bold mouthfeel offer a really powerful and tasty experience.
