(categorized this lichtenhainer as Smoke Beer for lack of anything better -- can't understand why the style selections are so ridiculously limited, some other lichtenhainers are entered as berliner weisse which makes no sense)
33cl bottle, bb in 4m.
Golden colour, very fine-grained foam which dissipates quickly.
Aroma is subdued smoke, a bit of sweetness.
Taste unfortunately is too watery to sustain interest. The smoke becomes too familiar and there is little left to build excitement on. A bit of citric tartness that I think was sweeter with fresher examples. And that's it.
I would personally add unmalted grains, add body, tartness.. something. The nose is intriguing but the blandness is a major let-down.
