On tap at the brewery.
Lightly hazy medium gold in color with a decent sized white head.
Bready and light caramel maltiness. Earthy grassy citrus and tropical notes. Pithy sour grapefruit rind and aspirin like astringency. Meh

When Scottys first made this beer a few years ago, it was a 5.0! But in the recent year, it has lost the hop. Now it's more malty. They made a limited addition West Coast IPA and that was outstanding. Hope this IPA gets its hop back!

another one of the good ones in here, up there with the dunkelweizen as my favorites actually, super clean and light bodied, which is perfect for the huid gulf side heat, but also packed full of fresh hoppy goodness, conventional but beautifully dosed and so well refined, bright as can be over top of the minimal grain foundation, its a flavor we have all experience plenty of times before, but the vehicle is excellent. one critique here has nothing at all to do with the beer, which is why not name it?! aside from seeming like one of the more fun and creative aspects of the process, it helps a beer form an identity and be memorable. naming the beer the style is sort of deadbeat to me, especially in this country, so as much as i like the beer, i dont identify with it, i dont even really get to know it, it might as well have come from google than whoever the heck this scotty actually is, you know? come on, have fun with it! the beer though is great, dry minerally finish, good carbonation, subtle lime and pine in the hops, west coasty and well refined. an ipa to make an afternoon of!

We love reviews (150 characters or more)! Check out: How to Review a Beer. You don't need to get fancy. Drop some thoughts on the beer's attributes (look, smell, taste, feel) plus your overall impression. Something that backs up your rating and helps others. Thanks!
