one of the more expertly crafted beers in here, a nice example of the style that hits all the marks. a dry bright golden crackery european pale malt base gives way to some nice noble grassy hop bitterness thats at once assertive and delicate. its dry and well carbonated, and feels like a beer i want to drink from a coozie wrapped can on a riding lawn mower, preferably in the morning. its crisp but its not boring or too reduced, the grain profile is really flavorful, even on the high end of the spectrum for the style, and along with a light lime and dried vegetal note to the hops, i also pick up some cut flowers, green tea, and dried lemon peel, a nice way to close this one down, very summery and perfectly florida appropriate. i do like a bit more of a flavorful lager yeast in these sometimes, this is downright minimal, but in the context of warm humid weather and beers warming up fast and all, i think it might be a wise omission. a nice recipe and nice execution, any imported pils drinker should be happy with this...
