It isn’t bad, but it isn’t a proper or authentic bitter like the can leads you to believe. It tastes like a pretty average craft IPA. It has a nice bitterness to it, but much too citrusy for what I think a proper bitter should taste like. I tried this because there are very very few options available to purchase in NS or NB as far as actual British beers go. It isn’t bad - but would strongly recommend something else like Sam Smith’s pale ale if you’re looking for a good authentic English bitter.
