Presentation: 32 oz. growler, served in a Rastal Harmony glass.
Appearance: A bubbly, half finger, pink-colored head shows up right after the pour but it goes away almost immediately. There's some lacing in small spots but that's pretty much it. It's a beautiful, hazy, very bright garnet color.
Smell: It's an incredible, floral aroma of hibiscus along with red fruits that hits the nose right away. When you swirl the beer around in the glass it comes right up again which is great. This is a very aromatic beer. The slightly musty, soursop aroma is lingering in the background too.
Taste: It's tart and very flavorful with the strongest notes being of hibiscus and soursop, as expected. There's also some other fruit in the background, mostly lemon, orange peel and a slight herbaceous note in there too.
Mouthfeel: It's light and very refreshing. The carbonation is soft and medium-low which makes it quite smooth.
Overall: It's a beautiful, complex beer with a lot going on but it still stays easy to drink and enjoy. A great job from Zurc as usual.
