16oz can served in a footed pilsner glass. Can does not appear to be dated. Got it from @WunderLlama in NBS BIF #18.
Pours dark brown, maybe black, with a huge fluffy head and strong retention. Smell is roasty stout and yeasty bread, chocolate sweetness and a hint of coffee.
Taste is sweet, milk chocolate and a little coffee, a little roastiness. Maybe some anise. Milk / vanilla sweetness is quite noticeable, but not overwhelming.
Mouthfeel is medium to thick, maybe a bit of a chew. Overall, very enjoyable.

From a 16oz can, no date on the can.
When I popped open the can some luscious beer popped out onto the rim of the can. When pouring it into my glass I get an amazing pitch black color to the beer. There's a thick, 3 finger tan colored head to the beer. Frothy and fluffy looking. Long lasting but no lacing on the glass.
The aroma, and I've let this sit out of the fridge for a good half hour, has a good roasted chocolate malt to it. Very faint hints of lactose in here, but, very faint.
Taste - Well the flavor starts off with a great dark chocolate hit to it. This chocolate flavor lingers and is quite delicious. The flavor is added to toward the back by a creamy lactose flavor. While the beer isn't bitter, the lactose provides a nice balance to the dark chocolate.
Creamy, smooth full body. Soft feeling.
Delicious beer overall and well balanced.

Received from der WunderLlama in a porch busting BIF box in NBW BIF 18.
Poured stout black with a comfortable looking (as in pillow soft) light brown head that was easily an inch tall.
The description provided by the brewery is that of a dessert beer; such is their perception of the sweetness and chocolate notes. Perhaps on tap it's a sweet treat, but for both my friend (whom I shared it with) and I it was more like a no frills stout with nice coffee roast and a touch of char. Which surprised me but in no way disappointed me. We enjoyed trying it and maybe some day I'll get to try it on tap.
Cheers!

Had on tap at Plymouth. Pours opaque, jet black in color with one inch head. Taste is white sugar, vanilla, and roasted malt. Sweet, moderate low carbonation, medium bodied. Totally different beer as this one warms up a bit. The vanilla starts to pop but this one never becomes gimmicky, just a really good, straightforward milk stout.

Brewer notes: introducing dairy shack, a sweet milk, stout that will satisfy even the most ardent, dessert aficionado. The profile doesn’t require a lot of flowery text, but here goes: milk, chocolate, upon dark chocolate, with a smattering of Baker’s chocolate, and a touch of cocoa, medium body, silky, smooth, and creamy, especially if served at 40 to 50°. delicious and decadent dessert in a can. Obviously, there’s a hefty dose of lactose in the recipes so for those that are intolerant please take note these are not the droids you’re looking for we packaged a small number of cans, less than 50 cases, which we are landing in our tap rooms today. Grab them before they’re gone.
