I'm not a fan of IPA because of the bitterness but I keep trying them! I enjoy high bitter drinks but less so with beer for some reason. In any event, this beer was enjoyable as far as this style goes. Hazy light gold in color, it comes with a medium lace that stays. Aromatics definitely fall under the tropical fruit side most notable being pineapple. Bitterness is high (as noted) including the aftertaste and hoppy.

Light gold with a steady haze. Lasting modest head which leaves a blanket after each sip which later becomes multiple spots as it dries.
Lightly sweet with a pleasant floral hop nose.
Quite dry, to the point of being nearly astringent. The hop makes the beer even more bitter. Little malt presence. Moderate body with a high carbonation level. overall, this is a borderline extreme beer, but without the lip-smacking bitterness.

Draught. Tastes like oysters but in a good way. Pineapple on nose and palate.

a decent IPA, notes of earthy pine, caramel malt, floral, and light citric quality. light bodied, easy drinking.

4x16 oz cans came in around $12 after tax. Pours an almost clear golden copper color with about of finger of off-white head that coats the glass with lace. Aroma is a bready citrus hoppiness?? Taste is a little different with a flowery, melon/cactus, kinda thing - interesting but a little off-putting. That flavor gets milder as you continue to drink, and it really is quite enjoyable. Mouth feel is great - medium body, refreshing, soft. Overall, I had no idea what to expect from these guys as I haven't heard anything or visited their South Burlington tasting room. I'm now tempted to try some of their other offerings, and I would definitely pick this one up again.

Pours a slightly hazy orange color. Nice hops on the nose. Taste has some solid malt backbone and nice mosaic hoppiness. Medium mouthfeel with some carbonation. Definitely much better than what the rating numbers show. Up and comer
