Poured into a becher pint glass.
The appearance was sturdy copper hazy opaque color with a thin finger's worth of white foamy head that slid off at a moderate pace. Lace was nice and sticky, somewhat speckled.
The aroma had a wonderful blend of sweet melon/honeydew crispness flowing over dried sweet fresh piney hop bitterness.
The flavor leaned bitter initially and seemed to develop a super nice substantial bittersweet fullness from the hops. Nice mobile hoppy aftertaste with a gentle bite from the piney-ness.
The mouthfeel was between light and medium bodied with a spectacular sessionability about it. Carbonation felt nice and light with the ABV feeling right on par.
Overall, as a session IPA, this definitely works. The "light" enough body definitely packs in a ton of flavor without being obstructing. Would definitely have again.
