Pours cloudy orange tan color with a solid 2 finger foamy white head that was packed with bubbles of all sizes, fading very slowly and leaving decent foamy lacing.

Smells of orange peel, tangerine, grapefruit, citrus hops, lemon zest, cracker, earthy notes and fresh cut grass. Nose seems tepid and seems to weaken as it sits, not bringing out more aromas as is the normal course with a DIPA...very odd.

Tastes of orange peel, tangerine, lemon zest and grapefruit, then comes off as grainy with more malt and crackers coming through. Light caramel, graham cracker, fruity candy like Razzles and floral/earthy notes round out the profile. The balance is really good, but this just doesn't have the hop kick expected in a DIPA from Vermont, especially a beer that was dry hopped with Galaxy, Citra and Ella hops.

Can: Poured a cloudy dirty brown color ale with a medium size off-white foamy head with light retention and minimal lacing. Aroma of light tropical fruits notes with some floral citrusy hops notes with light dry notes also perceptible. Taste is a mix of light tropical fruit with some citrusy notes and some residual sugar notes with light dry finish. Body is full with medium carbonation. Appearance isn’t great but the lack of balance is what concern me most about this beer.

Probablement défectueuse. Aucune odeur. Aucune mousse. Couleur brunâtre. Goût très sucré sans houblon ni amertume.

On draft in a fluted snifter. Pour is full on hazed yellow with a slight orange tint. Very small head turns into a thin collar with a floated island of foam. Looks thick, OJ.

Some tropical fruits, citrus juice and zest and earthy grasses.

Flavor is spot on citrus and fruit hop characteristics. Nice level of background bitterness keeps the sweetness at bay. Lemon zest, grapefruit juice and grapefruit rind bitterness. Nice fresh tropical fruit.

Moderate carbonation and soft medium body.

A really tasty brew, I scored the appearance a bit down because it is just a bit too hazy for me. Looks like sunny d. I would drink again and will look for in cans. My favorite from this brewer so far.

Can dated 11/7/2017.
This was poured into a tall tulip.
The appearance was a super nice hazy/cloudy orange pale peel color with a finger's worth of white foamy head that slid off at a moderate pace. Mild concave lace stuck around the sides of the glass.
The aroma captured a nice sweet grapefruity pulpy juiciness flowing over some grassy to pulled tropical sweetness.
The flavor was moderately sweet with a juicy bitter edge coming in fairly nice to push out the grassy sweetness. Light smooth sweet clean biscuit. Juicy grapefruit-like aftertaste, semi-sticky, but quaint.
The mouthfeel was about medium bodied with a fine sipping quality about it. Carbonation was low as usual for the New England style causing a nice juicy smooth middle ability flowing over my tongue. Crisp juicy grapefruity finish.
Overall, by style this can hang with the best of them and honestly, probably one of Farnham's best to date. Good job Ben and company.

Very nice NE IPA attempt from Farnham. Typical look of a super hazy fruit juice with a soft head that leaves a ton of lace. Aromas are somewhat muted, but feature some tropical and citrus fruits. Taste is great, with a nice blend of flavors and sweetness and a very soft finishing bitterness. Mouth is just right. Overall, I'm impressed...too bad it's a one-off.
