On tap at Vermont Tap House, Williston, Vermont.
This was poured into a tulip.
The appearance was a semi-dark pink color with no head or lace.
The aroma had the sweet to tart passion fruit up front and semi-bold with a touch of some sour lemon-like character. Hibiscus florally came in on a subtle dry to sweet note.
The flavor was moderately sour playing upon the passion fruit to lemon notes and then once again hibiscus came in underneath. Light aftertaste of the passion fruit and sour edges.
The mouthfeel was roughly medium bodied, perhaps a touch under. Sour notes show some strength, but aren't too distracting. Some eagerness of the passion fruit invades with a light harshness, semi-dry.
Overall, one of those "fruited sours" we seem to be seeing more of these days where the brett isn't there or more than light. This one I really didn't get any brett, but that didn't bother me too much. I'd still have again.
