Opened on 7/2/19
Pale and hazy orange color, maybe a rusted gold? Something like that. All white foam cap holds on tight, solid ring and thin cover at all times.
What's the nose like?....well I'm getting some interesting hop and malty effects: Creamy wheat, tangerine, lime slice, pepper and spices mostly. A very tangy fruit and wild yeast aroma from the hops. Wheat and pilsner malt in the barley.
The flavor is very bold and rather intense.... Boozy malt first, sweet and hot, full bodied in this way, with a long and cloying effect in the feel. The malt and whatever grain adjunct might be in here sure does look light, but the depth is much bigger. I suppose you could call it smooth... But more slick really.
The hops are WAY out there! Very complex and very muddled. Layers of sweet and tangy fruit: pineapple, peppery, earthy grains, margarita mix and hot citrus.
This DIPA is actually pretty boozy hot, I feel like I added some moonshine to it... It's HEAVY in almost every aspect. Sometimes the overall "huge" effect is just too much. Mega flavor, unrefined and crazy is exactly what we have here.

Poured into a 13 oz Kettlehead Snulip glass canned on 11/12/18. Pours a very attractive slightly hazy orange yellow, with a finger plus sticky white head that leaves big thick webby patches of lace, with solid retention. 4.25
Smell is apricot, tangerine, mango, pine, and grapefruit rind. 3.75
Taste follows apricot, mango, tangerine, pine, and a little grapefruit bitterness. 3.75
Mouthfeel is a solid medium, fairly soft mouthfeel, a tad sticky and dry, and goes down easy enough at 8.5. 3.75
Overall this pretty good, I really don’t think the 75 days made it much worse, but worth a try for sure. 3.75

A super nice NE DIPA. Not super hazy and definitely not super juicy. Very well defined hop profile. Will be on my beer of the year 2019 list.

Pint can dated 08/09/2018. "ROADTRIPPIN" inscribed on the bottom of the can.
Deep gold / light amber and cloudy, with the second half of the pour more murky than the first. Big fluffy white head and patchy lacing on the glass. Peach and citrus aroma, some pineapple-like tropical fruit mixed in. Very fruity in the flavor as well. Citric and juicy. Unbalanced, chalky finish. Medium bodied. Another new wave IPA with very little character. Nothing that distinguishes it from the rest of the pack.

Can dated 08/09/2018.
This was poured into a tulip.
The appearance was a thick hazy pulled orange woody color with a slim cap of white foamy head. Gently dissipated to leave a fine filmy glaze of lace.
The aroma had a very nice blend of sweet to bitter citrusy juiciness up front carefully balancing with a refined sweet piney hoppiness on the back end.
The flavor yields to the sweetness of the entire blend of sweet pine, citrus and freshly cut grass. Light notes of some sort of "Summer rain" slide in just before the aftertaste occurred. The aftertaste was slightly citrusy with a refined juiciness and sweet pine. Light notes of white pepper were noticeable with some warmth.
The mouthfeel was about medium bodied with a fair sipping ability about it. Carbonation felt fine, somewhat low as noted for the New England styled DIPA. ABV felt as projected by the brewer. Semi-sticky sort of finish with the sweet pine.
Overall, this is quite good and well worthy of coming back to.
