A full-bodied, robust porter with roast character resulting the combination of dark malt and coffee beans. Costa Rican beans from Brio Coffee Works complement a grain bill incorporating coffee malt in this tasty combination of uppers and downers.

Brewed In Collaboration With Brio Coffeeworks.

Breakfest (yes, an "e")
Beer"

Moderate pour yields a 3/4 tan head over a nearly pitch black body with some lacing. Nose of roasted coffee, roasted malt, and slight hops. (25 IBUs) Taste mirrors nose with a slight sweetness from start through middle with a slight bitter finish of coffee and hops. Good feel and overall, a nice job from the lab in South Burlington, VT. Cheers!
