The beer in your hand is a collaboration between Big Tree Brewing and Farnham Ale & Lager. Its design combines lots of oats and Lotus hops to create a soft mouthfeel and a tropical, citrusy profile with hints of vanilla and pine.

16 oz, canned 5-31-19

Nice looking hazed up NEIPA pour and leaving just some minor bits and strands of lacing.

Fruit juicy nose with sweet tropical notes, mango, kiwi and pineapple purée coming forward.

More of the same on the palate, juicy for sure, tropical, floral, delicious. Carbonation on point. Nicely crafted, thoroughly enjoyable....

Go get some....

Can. Very pale hazy straw, looks like a Belgian white, with lasting head and lace. Grapefruit papaya aroma. Medium light tropical fruit sweetness with medium citrus and tropical fruit bitterness. Medium body soft but lively. Not too doughy. (I decant NE IPAs because otherwise they're generally gross.) Very good.

Can to becher pint glass.
The appearance had a pour of translucent glossy yellow then produced a mild chill hazy looking yellow color topped by a small cap of white foamy head. Just some wispy concave lace.
The aroma had some stifled floral blossom to subtle pine (somewhat bitter but quite faint).
The flavor balances quite nicely between soft sweet tropical fruits and pine. Floral hop particles come back subtly. Mellow aftertaste of bitter citrus rind and some pine.
The mouthfeel was about medium bodied with a soft glance of sessionability. Carbonation seemed right. ABV felt appropriate. Fairly smooth on the finish with some floral/crisp dried blossom-grassy character.
Overall, pretty nice easy going sipper on Easter Eve. Good job Josh, I'd have again.

16 oz. can.
Moderate to vigorous pour yields a 3/4 inch pure white head over a hazy, golden yellow body with some lacing. Head dissipates fairly quickly, but comes back with a swirl or two. Nose of tropical fruit, citrus, and slight pine. Taste mirrors nose very nicely and as it warms just a bit I do get a hint of vanilla as described on the can's label. This really is quite delicious! Nice feel and overall, a highly sessionable IPA. Cheers to Big Tree and the guys at Farnham for a solid offering!
