Well, yep. That’s a brown beer.
Appearance:
Super dark. Basically black. Can’t see through it.
Aroma:
Mild Carmel, biscuity.
Taste:
Mildly bitter.
Mouthfeel:
Light. Mild carbonation.
Overall:
Easy, especially for how dark it looks. Nothing too standout or off-putting. Just a real easy drinking beer with slight bitterness.

I have the feeling that this is a beer I would like better from draft.
Poured from a can into a tall tulip glass. Clear dark brown color with good head and lacing. Nutty, toasted malt smell and taste. Nice toffee notes. Decent feel, overall a good beer.

Pretty bland, some bitterness like an English brown but no flavor. Huge light tan head very thin mouth feel.

Pours out dark brown--definitely on the dark side of a brown ale, with a small head that fades within seconds. Soft caramel nose, a bit faint unless swirled directly near the nose. Fairly well-attenuated beer, with limited sweetness, despite a very low bitterness. Smooth caramel taste, with just a hint of toasting. Good body, substantial despite not being too strong, soft and pleasing.
Not an exceptional English brown, but it's good to have any these days, when so few brewers are making English style beers.

Pours a very effervescent & slightly murked hazel with too much tan head ( noticed this with some other Mountain Fork beers as well ). Some lacing & head retention
S: Toasty, nutty
T: Follows the nose, a little caramel & dryness & woody hops front. More dryness, woodyness & toastyness as this warms. Finishes dry, toasty & woody
MF: Medium body, medium carbonation
A solid brown, drinks easy, just pour this beer very gently
