Appearance:
Deep honey. Transparent, but rich in color. No head. Any darker and it’d be an amber. Actually very pretty; just a little darker than I’d expect from a Belgian Style Golden Ale.
Aroma:
Banana. Slight clove.
Taste:
Boozy. Metallic. Almost sweet.
Mouthfeel:
Wet. Low carbonation. Easy drinking, especially for this abv. The booziness is much less harsh than many other beers I’ve had at this abv.
Overall:
Interesting. I wish it had more body.
