The name speaks for itself. Given that this beer came directly from an obsession with a singular hop, we had to figure out how to get more in the glass. We simply doubled it. The result a Double IPA that is even more saturated with Mosaic goodness.

A: Merigold sort of orange. Dense haziness without the turbidity.
S: Orange pez. Earth, spice, dried mango. Papaya black tea. Wonderfully dank with some catty elements.
M: Very drinkable with equilibrium between carbonation and body.
T: Sweeter, slightly juicier than nose. Pine, goji berry, red colored gummy fish, licorice spice, cara cara oranges. Vanilla marshmallow orange smoothie without having to add actual marshmallows.
I've taken a walk away from Mosaic recently, but this beer definitely has me reconsidering my decision.

Poured from a growler (filled today) into a sort of willi becher glass
L: pours a darker orange, totally opaque but not cloud/milky. Moderate white head that fades after a couple minutes, leaving some chunky lacing. Great lacing as I sip as well, with a very small head sticking around
S: nice and inviting tropical fruit and citrusy aroma immediately, rich but not that overly ripe/dank character. Solid citrusy bitterness, with some piney notes as well. Get that berry melody as a nice foundation to everything else
T: follows the nose, great mix of tropical fruit with that citrusy/piney flavor providing solid contrast. Get orange and grapefruit up front with some earthy contrast, with a rounder melon/berry through the middle to the medium/long finish. As the beer warms that melon/berry character is more pronounced - would also say the flavor gets somewhat sweeter, but not off-putting
F: medium+ carbonation, medium body, quite smooth and drinkable. Nearly creamy but not in a sweet way, doesn’t detract
O: stellar IPA that really showcases mosaic in a fantastic way. One of those “oh this is what this hop can do” beers, love it
