Quite the outstanding Porter. Nice chocolate flavor with a touch of roast. Just the way I like them.

I tried this beer off the tapper at the brewery as part of a four sample flight. It poured a nearly opaque dark mahogany amber with off-white head that left a spotty lace. The scent had subtle roast and chocolate notes. The taste was nicely balanced and easy to drink with chocolate, roast and toffee presence. The mouthfeel was lighter in body with good carbonation. Overall it is a great beer.

On tap. Pours black with tall, creamy, brown head, nice lacing and lively carbonation. Aroma is of toasted malt, dark fruit, toffee and some herbal hops. Body is medium and crisp. Taste is of toasted malt, coffee, dark fruit, burnt grain and herbal hops. Long finish is dry. Nice porter.
