Poured a pint can into a Spiegelau IPA glass and a 2 ounce taster to share with my wife today. Can is gorgeous, with "CANNED ON: 10/18/22 14:39:48 AIR TO FAKIE" dot matrix printed on can bottom. That makes the canning date five and a half weeks ago. Definitely fresh enough for me, as can was kept refrigerated. Head thick, light off-white yellowish brown and persistent with excellent lacing and a skin of light foam left as I drink. Color a slightly turbid brownish orange SRM 14 on my AJ deLange Beer Color Chart. Smells a good mix of malty pretzel dough and ethanolic hoppy pinecone forest floor needle duff. Taste is right where my tastebuds want it to be: courageously bittered with a dark deep-roasted malt balance. Carbonation is exactly correct. Lingering bitter aftertaste thrives and begs for more swallowing. This is now my favorite Ithaca ale. Must get more!

I tried this beer off the tapper at the brewery as part of a four sample flight. It poured a clear amber with white head that is leaving a nice lace. The scent had subtle pine and citrus notes. The taste was nicely balanced and easy to drink with sweet malt base and nice pine flare with a tinge of citrus. The mouthfeel was medium in body with good carbonation. Overall it is a great beer.
