Pours pitch black color with a very small brown head that faded quickly and left almost no lacing. Smells of molasses, burnt coffee grinds, dark chocolate, caramel, soy sauce, vanilla and chocolate syrup. Taste is on the sweeter side with molasses, vanilla, chocolate syrup, brown sugar, cocoa powder, dark chocolate, cold pressed coffee, hints of pine or grassy hops and faint bourbon in the finish. The mouthfeel is slick, the body is thin and on the watery side, but there’s zero sign of the alcohol so it goes down pretty easy.
