An effective O'fest.
Looks are less promising as it lacks clarity of a lager, but it does offer a nice amber. Smells are mostly malt. Tastes are well balanced with just enough hops and they linger to the end. Finish is less crisp than lagers typically are, but still nicely dry.
BarmHaus is ex-urban, outside of the Sacramento metro and according to the brewer, really "nowhere." But tourists on their way to southern Tahoe or the national forests could support this micro. Interestingly to me, BarmHaus mostly brews ales in the Belgian style. This is not easy for a micro only in its second year. but they did a good job with this O-fest.
Possible correction to BA listing: I'm not sure if Stash is the correct website. I suggest http://www.barmhausco.com.
It has some stuff; but is still being built like the brewery (see the video.)

We love reviews (150 characters or more)! Check out: How to Review a Beer. You don't need to get fancy. Drop some thoughts on the beer's attributes (look, smell, taste, feel) plus your overall impression. Something that backs up your rating and helps others. Thanks!
