Brewed with fruit and lactose, the nose teases aromas of cobbler, fresh fruit compote, hints of baking spice and vanilla.
Moderate to heavy acidity is backed with fruity sweetness and biscuity malt character. Blackberries lend a slightly sweet, earthy undertone, and a plum purple hue. We added a hefty charge of dry hops, choosing to compliment and mimic berry flavors. Sweetness, acidity, and bitterness are all in balance, no sip shifting too far in one direction.
