A golden pale color with minimal head poured in a 5 ounce taster. Comes in with a sweet, piney and citrus aroma. You can smell the sweet lightly roasted malts.
Taste starts with immediate amazing bitterness clocking at 80 IBU. The hops, apparently imported from New Zealand, pack a good punch with a lot of Fir or Pine needle hints and a bit of citrus. The sweet malts give the beer a good amount of kick at 6.7%. Finished with a nice citrusy hop flavor. Feel is on point with a good creamy, not too heavy, not too light sensation. Overall, I would definitely purchase a 6 pack. (I am quite an IPA fan though)
