Draft at Beveridge Place Pub in Seattle, WA.
This beer was the 2012 Iron Brewer winner for Beveride Place Pub.
Pours a hazy, bright golden orange color with a one finger white head that quickly settles into a thin ring. Minimal spots of lacing left behind.
Zesty, spicy aroma with a strong yeast presence and prominent citrus. Subtle banana which is complimented by coconut as well as the bready yeast, citrus, spicy clove and lemon peel.
Fuller end of medium body with a nice balance of zesty spice, bready yeast, citrus fruit and coconut. The coconut is nicely complimented by yeast and banana flavors. Nice zesty, peppery flavor as well with hints of coriander and clove. Nothing is overpowering however resulting in a well balanced, drinkable beer. Strongest element is citrus with lots of lemon and zest. Refreshing and slightly tart in the finish.
