Pours opaque ink black, tan sudsy lacing retains indefinitely.
Smells of roastes and smokey biscuit malts, dry woody undertones.
Flavor is over dry biscuit, mesquite, roasted coffee and a woody dry finish.
Medium body with tingly carbonation on the tongue.
A dry and flavorful smokey stout with a somewhat bland malt character. Ultimately pretty good but feels like it could have been something more as a breakfast stout. Worth trying.
