Summer is never over! Meet W A V E ~ R A C E R, a twist on a tropical smoothie milkshake-style double IPA. We brewed this one with heaps and heaps of Citra and Mosaic hops, bursting with banana, popping off with passionfruit, overflowing with orange, and very much Vanilla Bean. Close your eyes, take a sip, and transcend to an A E S T H E T I C filled with chrome dolphins, pink palm trees, and filthy future-bass beats. Hazy banana yellow. Subtle tropical fruit (passionfruit?) aroma and flavor. Good balance with little to no bitterness. Definitely has some hoppy IPA character. Medium bodied and lightly smooth.

Unclear dating on the bottom (S 5 N 09:59:45), 5.5% abv

Pours a hazy yellowish-orange with one finger of foamy head and pockets of lacing. Nose is faint banana, faint orange, and vanilla. Taste follows the nose. Citra compliments the citrus fruit... some strawberry (not an adjunct) and lemon do make a strange appearance. Mouthfeel is medium bodied, low-to-moderate carbonation, somewhat watery which seems odd with the lactose. Finish leaves some vanilla and passion fruit on the exhale.

On draft at the brewery. Pours a hazy bright orange with an inch of head. Some lacing. Light nose of citrus, vanilla and tropical fruits. The taste is strawberries, creamsicle, lemon and vanilla. Tangerine, guava and orange peel towards the end with a bit more creaminess. Creamy mouthfeel with low carbonation. Moderate alcohol heat.
