On tap at the brewery. Pours a dark brown with an inch of khaki colored head. Tons of lacing. The aroma is earthy and chocolatey with some oats and a hint of vanilla maybe. The taste is a blend of caramel, earth, coffee and chocolate. Some dark fruits towards the end with some pumpernickel bread. Finishes with chocolate, light citrus and floral/grassy hops. Light to medium body with low carbonation. Pretty flavorful brown ale.
