You found a Rare Candy! That's right, there's no need to keep stumbling around in the basement of the S.S. Anne, or search endlessly beneath the tall grass for a chance at finding one of these elusive treats. We at Little House are proud to package and sell the one item that others dare not to! So go ahead and have that first sip, it’s okay. You can skip your training for just one day and level up the easy way with this hazy, hop-saturated liquid XP. Indulge in the full-bodied, malty, and soft mouthfeel that comes from a grain bill of Connecticut-grown barley, wheat and oats. But, be careful drinking something like this out there in the wild…we prepared for trouble and made this crusher of a confection double dry-hopped with only the freshest Citra and Simcoe hops that we could find. It’s quite irresistible to all sorts of monsters - especially the ones that fit in your pocket!"

Draft at The Hub Brick Oven. Poured a cloudy, golden orange color with a small, off-white head of foam. It left thin rings of lace. It smelled of grapefruit, orange, guava and caramel. Sweet tropical fruit taste with toasted caramel and a piney bitterness.

this beer is epic, grossly underrated here and one of the better hazy types ive had all year, cant believe this is on tap in boise idaho, a long way from the little brewery its made at, which i had the pleasure of visiting awhile back, pretty wonderful little operation, i jumped when i saw this! it makes no sense at all to me that this can be simply citra and mosaic, its ten times the beer that most of them with this bill are, and the local malt is cool and all, but it doesnt transform this radically enough to be responsible for its uniqueness i dont reckon, but i guess i could be wrong, its happened before. some density and murk to this but its not messy looking, just really pale and kind of thick, high creamy white milkshake head on it though, and a ton of carbonation, smooth and long texture without hop bite, its ideal. the aroma and flavor are citrus forward, lime and lime leaf, white grapefruit and also fleshy coconut to me, and there is a remarkable amount of hop oil to this, to the extent it almost seems to be candied, and in fact this actually is really sweet, maybe the name playing mind tricks, but to me there is an almost confectionary sugar thing to the back half really highlighting the fruity side of the hops, long finish but not gross or forced, just unique with the way it interacts with the hops, some dankness but this isnt that really, its overripe green pear, green table grape, and meyer lemon, some of that canned pineapple mosaic character and thats maybe where the weedy part comes in, but its not catty at all, the citra seems more forward and intense than ever, and i get trace late vanilla bean with the sweetness, very sexy and complimentary, nice starchy grain base, works great with these hops, just a bit of yeast character too, maybe a juice forward aspect to it, the whole thing is modern and dialed, fresh for where it came from, and insane to me that its just citra and mosaic. the beer is creamy and frothy and smooth and long, the bitterness is very low, and i taste it forever in the best way. hard not to be blown away by this, reminds me how mediocre the vast majority of the hazy beer in idaho is, this is immediately relevant here. loved it!

A: hazy; light to medium gold in color; 1 finger finely pored white head that receded to a wispy cap with a moderate tight collar; very nice lacing;

S: peach, orange, and grapefruit;

T: mildly tart and sweet from start to finish; orange, lemon, and grapefruit; no bitterness;

M: medium bodied; moderate carbonation; moderately dry finish; no hop burn;

O: an interesting take on the style;

Smells a lil' sour. No complaints on the balanced taste - a slightly bitter, slightly sweet NEIPA that's very crisp, smooth and refreshing with a nice aftertaste

Poured from 16oz can into my BeerAdvocate teku. There are some numbers stamped on the bottom of the can, but they are not recognizable as a date.

Appearance: medium yellow hue with tons of haze and a thick head of chunky ivory foam.

Smell: sweet malt with a citrusy aroma that's just ... sharp, somehow. Don't know if that's an age thing or what -- the can's not really dated. I've smelled this in a lot of beers before, and I think it's just certain hops used in a certain way, and I don't love the smell/flavor of 'em. Not TERRIBLE, to be sure, but not my favorite.

Taste: same deal as the aroma -- sweet malt and a heavy hop dose of something earthy and citrusy, but with an unwelcome sharpness. I wish I knew what caused this!

Mouthfeel: medium-rich body with a good carbonation and big, smooth creaminess. Now we're talkin'!

Overall: this beer is certainly no drain-pour, but it's definitely not my favorite flavor profile.

Poured a cloudy, orange-gold body with decent head and slow-dying lace. Aroma struck me as acidic hoppiness that reminded me of tangerine and pink grapefruit. Smooth, medium body, the acidic bitterness is in background of a more acid-like sweetness like tangerine, pink grapefruit, papaya, nothing sharper like pineapple nor really sweet like tropical fruits, but the mild sweetness with a bite has good balance and beer is easy to drink.

Poured from a 16oz undated can, (but was purchased at a can release on 3/18/22) to a Nonic at fridge temp.
The body pours as a completely opaque and bright orange. A large, and large bubble, white head tops the glass.
The aroma is musty but sweet.
Taste has mango and apricot in front but a pleasant bitterness comes near the end.
The absolute finish is a creamy tongue coating. The mouth feel is maybe the best part of this beer and I rarely see that in any beer.
One of the best beers from this brewery that puts out quite a variety of good beers for such a small operation.
