This was a beer that I was given late last year and finally got around to reviewing! While not as strong or as memorable as I would have liked, there was enough prickly pear here to enjoy as this was a fitting beer for a pleasant, late summer day!
Plenty cloudy and with a bit of sediment floating in it, this poured like the main ingredient in it when it came to the hue. A light and loud head faded quickly as there wasn’t much of any lacing left behind. Loads of yeast, banana, and sweetness were in the nose as the taste was a bit heavier the further along I went. Nice body and a lively amount of carbonation kept this fun as it felt like pulpy juice by the time I got down to the last few sips.
Never felt the alcohol in this as it would have been easy to crack open another can upon finishing this off. No date was on the bottom either as this certainly needed to be rolled before opening. While not overly tart or bursting with flavor, there was enough to like here from start to finish. Easily a year-round beer, this was easily enjoyable for anyone new to the style!

We love reviews (150 characters or more)! Check out: How to Review a Beer. You don't need to get fancy. Drop some thoughts on the beer's attributes (look, smell, taste, feel) plus your overall impression. Something that backs up your rating and helps others. Thanks!
