Pours a dark brown color with a foamy tan head that lasts quite a while. Spicy aroma. Taste is sweet vanilla and enough cinnamon to be noticed but not enough to overpower the taste. Nice alcohol warmth.

16oz can. Poured out a cloudy, light brown color with a small, khaki-colored head of foam. It left minimal lacing. It smelled of roasted malt, toffee and earthy notes. Sweet malty taste with roasted notes and a spicy/earthy finish.

I am sampling a 16 oz can at cellar temp and poured into a snifter. date stamp on bottom of can says u5u 11:46:38 ???
Picked up the cans at the local beer shop.
Beer pours a rich mahogany color and rests even darker in my glass, no light is passing through. A dense creamy beige head foams up about 1.5 cm. This foam slowly fades to a thin surface covering.
Aroma on this beer is sweet toffee mixing with a good dose of ginger and some cinnamon. I dont get any vanilla really and certainly no hops. The ABV is also well hidden for a bigger beer.
First sip reveals a medium to light body with very fine and sort of prickly carbonation.
Flavor on this one is pretty much as expected, I get toffee and some light fruitiness with a good bit of gingerbread and vanilla mixing. Cinnamon comes through on the finish and lingers a bit after each swallow. Never any hop character and the ABV is totally hidden. Finish is definitely a little on the sweet side and the body could be a bit thicker, but this beer is pretty decent for what it is. glad I picked up a 4 pack.

Pours an effervescent chestnut/auburn with a thumb of tan head. Some head retention & lacing, viscous
S: Standard gingerbread fare here, figs
T: Follows the nose, there's malt & booze lurking along dark cherry. plus some peat notes up front. Vanilla, cinnamon & ginger to the fore as this beer warms up, some cakey & toffee notes too. Finishes a with some booze, jammyness & plenty of gingerbread
MF: Some booze burn on the lips, medium body, subdued carbonation, some warming. Body thinned out a little too much for my liking
Decent as a gingerbread beer, doesn't really scream wee heavy, ABV is fairly well hidden. Glad I got to try this; really glad it was just a single

Pours a deep chocolate with a thick, lasting foam. Rich, malty ale with tastes of cinnamon and ginger with a vanilla finish. Not overly sweet. Very pleasant and easy drinking for 10% ABV.
