Tasted in a Spiegelau IPA glass from a one pint can on June 23, 2019. Sour IPA smoothie with mangoes, pink guava, Tahitian vanilla beans, hibiscus petals and lactose.

Sampling a 16 oz can that was a gift from my brother. The beer is cold and is being poured into a snifter. Beer pours a hazy grapefruit juice pink color with a fizzy offwhite head of 1 cm that fades to nothing rapidly after the pour. Very active streams of carbonation rise from the bottom of my glass the entire sampling leaving popping bubbles on the surface of my glass.
Aroma is fruity and floral notes with mango and peach hits and a little bit of vanilla buried in the background. I get a bit of a grassy hop character and some general tart notes. Definitely fairly complex nose.
the first sip reveals a light crisp body with very fine and tingly carbonation. Beer is a little on the watery end, but that seems to work for the style.
Flavor is similar to the nose advertisements. I get some tart almost strawberry notes and some sweeter mango notes with maybe a hint of vanilla in the background. The ABV is completely hidden and I only get a little bit of a hoppy bite on the finish, maybe unsweetened black tea. The tartness comes back after the swallow with a lingering note.
Overall the beer probably something that is really good ice cold on a hot day. An enjoyable brew that is pretty far outside my normal beer comfort zone.
