Imprint Beer Co. "Bahama Mama Float"
16 fl. oz. can without production codes or freshness dating
$8 @ Kunda Beverage, King of Prussia, PA
Notes via stream of consciousness: It's poured a chunky-milky looking yellowish-tan body beneath a creamy cap of the same color. The aroma is hard to describe but it's mainly like sweet slices of juicy apple, a whole pile of slightly turning apple skins, cinnamon, and pinapple juice combined. The flavor is far sweeter but similar. The apple remains, along with a bit of lightly caramelish sugar, lots of sweetened pineapple, mango, chili pepper, and vanilla. They mention birthday cake on the label and this tastes a lot like a birthday cake but nothing is listed on the label regarding actual fruit ingredients or flavorings. This can't be a regular beer so I'm wondering if they're in violation of federal labeling requirements. It finishes sweet with vanilla, cake like maltiness, and fruit lingering. In the mouth it's full bodied and creamy smooth with a moderate, fine-bubbled carbonation. This is definitely a dessert beer and I wouldn't recommend it beyond that.
