Our new Italian style pilsner was inspired by our new Pizza Co., providing the perfect compliment to our incredible pizzas. We brewed this with Eraclea pilsner grain, then dryhopped it with a splendid combination of Saphir and Anchovy hops, for a neuvo classico Italian pilsner.

16oz can received from my PA brother @jzeilinger
Poured into a Sunriver Brewing Belgian-style tulip
P crystal clear yellow/gold; small white cap
N cereal malts w/ very light sweetness
T crisp crackery malt meets earthy hops; very light sweetness, a bit of salinity, and a touch of bitey citrus here and there; pleasant
Mf light-bodied w/ high carb; crisp
O enjoyed this even more than I thought I would; nicely-done Italian pilsner

Canned on: ????
A - Light medium gold pour with perfect clarity, lots of sprightly carbonation, and a thin creamy layer of white foam with no dissipation.
S - Crisp biscuity malt with light graininess and some spiciness.
T - Light honey malt base with spicy woodiness, pine, juniper, and ends with a lingering piney bite.
M - Medium body with lots of pricklies on the tongue and a dry finish. A little thicker than a typical Italian Pilsner.
O - Yep, it's a crisp, grainy Italian Pilsner and hits the spot.
