Heavenly Body NA Golden Wheat is the first offering from the WellBeing Brewing Company. It is based on a Great American Beer Festival award-winning recipe! This American-Style Wheat has more flavor than its light lager cousins. We add a hint of Cascade and German Traditional hops for a slight citrus character that balances the lighter malts. This is a great beer for after sports, yoga, or anytime you are taking care to watch what is going in your heavenly body.

A crystal clear; deep gold in color; less than a 1 finger off white head that receded quickly to a wispy cap with a thin tight collar; no lacing;

S: almost no aroma; what's there reminds me of what a frat house smells like the morning after a keg party;

T: virtually no flavor; I wouldn't know this was a beer if I didn't have the can in front of me; there's a hint of caramel earthiness; mild bitterness at the end;

M: light to medium bodied; light carbonation; moderately dry finish;

O: someone thought this was a good idea; I don't understand why;

(12 oz bottle, no date/code; purchased single off shelf... poured into a 14 oz mug)

L: pale amber liquid... is that a yeasty swirl?!... poured with a rounded, glossy, tight foam crest (similar to a hefeweizen)... looked nice to start, but the collar barely remains; no lace

S: kitschy soap, unmashed wheat malt, old-fashioned donut-scented cardboard... I can't say its overall bouquet is all that appealing

T: yeah, definitely a wheaty angle, hefeweizen-like, but just the malt, not the yeast character... definitely tastes like wheat malt juice/tea; slight bready aftertaste; little hop presence or bitterness... marginally pleasant; at least the dead dough aroma didn't carry over or blossom much on the palate; near bone dry

F: relatively light-bodied, without much shape/roundness... 'big' bubbles popping in concert on contact... the wheat leaves that 'tart' lingering tang

O: something different among the lot of NAs I've tried over the past couple weeks, but one of the weaker in character... improved a little over the course of sipping, but still its lacking depth, even for its ilk (1947)

Canned 111021, 12 oz. Sent from Ondernulpuntvijf. Served at around 10°C in my stemmed angled beer glass.

Appearance: pours yellow-golden with marginal haze strengthened by vapor condensation on the glass, 1.5 finger white head which is receding to a ring with little lacing

Aroma: very interesting, malt-citrusy

Taste: well balanced, citrusy, both sour and bitter in the back

Feel: medium carbonation and body

Overall: as I have found that wheat beers aren’t my absolute favorites, even if liking them, it gets 4

An average good beer in my book, like it.

Bottom of can says this was packaged May 7th of last year. That's borderline unacceptable, especially considering I ordered direct from the brewery. You'd think they'd want to put their best foot forward for Dry January. Or maybe NA beer doesn't age as poorly as it's alcoholic counterparts and I'm a reactionary douchebag. Lets pop the top and see...

Well... it looks like beer. Really light beer, but beer all the same. The head is large but thins out rather quickly. Smells like a wheat based ale with some light citrus notes lurking about the margins. There's also a very skunky scent I haven't experienced since I last had a Heineken 20 some odd years ago. If I could get past that it would actually smell pretty good. It's a little bready; or almost like a wheat pretzel if you've ever had one of those. Tastes largely as it smells, but that skunky quality really lingers on the back end. Could just be me, but I get a mild salinity like from a gose. It's quite pleasant in that regard. Mouthfeel is far better than anticipated. I've never had near beer before and kind of expected something very watered-down. This isn't; it's light, but it's got a pleasant crispness and snap. I hope to find some NA beer I genuinely like this month, but I don't hate this. It's fine and were it not for the skunkiness I'd probably even say good all things considered.

A: The beer is relatively clear yellow in color and has a light amount of visible carbonation. It poured with a quarter finger high white head that quickly settled down, leaving a narrow collar around the edge of the glass.
S: Light aromas of funk are present in the nose - not funky like a sour but funky as in being "off" compared to what you would have expected.
T: The taste has flavors of cracker and wheat malt along with some off flavors of funk.
M: It feels light-bodied on the palate and has a moderate amount of carbonation.
O: This beer is easy to drink but the off aromas and flavors aren't that appealing.

Poured from 12oz bottle into a dimpled mug.

Appearance: medium golden hue with a bit of haze to it. Head is a thin layer of white foam that doesn't stick around too long. Not bad looking, though.

Smell: quite light; it's a bit wheaty with a dash of caramel to it. Composed well for NA, but quite faint.

Taste: wheaty with a bit of orchardy fruit flavor as well, which to me gives it a little Belgian character. Actually for NA, not bad at all.

Mouthfeel: light body with a pretty high carbonation. Not exactly creamy, but not terrible.

Overall: this beer is pretty good! I like the somewhat Belgian-y character it delivers. I could see myself having this again.

12 oz can poured into a stange

A- A slightly hazy golden copper with a two finger white head.

S- Wheat, crackers, some citrus.

T- Wheat, citrus, touch of crackers.

M- Smooth, light body.

O- A solid non-alcoholic beer, brings a decent amount of flavor. Not too far off from a regular American Wheat.

It is oik, beats the macro brewed NA. Does taste like a wheat beer, light citrus flavor but I agree with others here the taste dissipates rather quickly after each sip, then gets a bit too watery. The initial feel is good though, wished it would last.

I'm very open minded when it comes to NA beers. WellBeing has a good reputation and I enjoyed Victory Wheat. This one, however, has very little flavor to speak of. If there's no alcohol there better be flavor. Otherwise I'll just drink a club soda with lime.

Too bad. I plan on giving there other stuff a try though.

Can date smudged, I can only pick up the year of 2020
Pours a med fizzy 1 finger head that fades semi quickly, semi hazy med gold color

Nose grainy cracker wheat, again fresh wort aroma, a little raw bread dough, little grist, and mild sweet malt

Taste brings more raw fresh wort with crackery bready wheat, grainy gristy, a bit of a cereal, as well as some sweet malt, then hops, fair floral grassy hops, med-light bitterness, dry finish, almost a lager like softness, lingering floral grassy hops

Mouth is med to lighter bod, carb is a bit on the high side

Overall not bad, like some of the others better but for NA beer this is quite enjoyable

Pours clear, gold in color with 1/4 inch head. Taste is big wheat and honey. Light bodied, sweet, with moderate carbonation. Tastes like a nice regular kolsch without any bite. It is ok.

Appearance: Golden look and a bit hazy. Not much retention.

Smell: Slight citrus smell with a bit of grains in there too. A bit of a funky smell but I can't pinpoint what it is.

Taste: Nice citrus taste at first almost like a Blue Moon. Taste goes away quickly though

Feel: A bit watery and light. Feels more light a light beer than a wheat.

Overall: Very drinkable and decent taste but falls a bit short of it being a true wheat.

I don't see a date listed anywhere on the label or bottle.

Appearance: The body is a medium shade of gold and it is very hazy. The head is short, white, and creamy textured. It has decent retention and it leaves a few strings of lacing.

Aroma: There is a light funky aroma to the beer which smells like bay leaf, sour fruit, and saltwater.

Taste: Up front there is a light cream of wheat flavor and a touch of lemon. The middle is a bit more tangy but otherwise lacks flavor. Towards the end there is a bit of lemon.

Mouthfeel: It has a very light body and a light tartness. It tastes watered down, especially for a wheat beer. Wet finish.

Overall: The beer has an odd aroma which smells like a wild yeast strain took hold. The label states that this is a "NON-ALCOHOLIC MALT BEVERAGE" and for a non-alcoholic beer it has pretty good flavor. Compared to a standard wheat beer it lacks flavor, and it greatly lacks body. As a whole the beer is still alright because it has a decent flavor, and it would work well if you're looking for a light bodied beer with a wet finish. I probably wouldn't pick it up again but I could drink it if handed one. I wouldn't really recommend it as a wheat beer given the lack of texture.
