Murky dark brown body with some khaki bubbles here and there. Smell stars bourbon booze, raisin, fig, and other dark fruits, caramel malts, and faint belgian yeast. Thought it tasted more balanced than smell would indicate, with the dark fruit and booze really melding together well, and some sneaky breadiness helped too. Feel was a little too new world boozy for me to give the quad stamp of approval on completely, but this was an enjoyable beer! The wife loved it
