Very dark beer, almost pure black. The reddish head doesn't last long, leaving just some minor lacing.
There is a lot of chocolate and peanut butter in the smell, and just a hint of coffee.
Definite sweetness up front from the sugar, then the chocolate and peanut butter kick in. Overall reminds me of a liquid peanut butter cup.
Silky smooth, one of the smoothest feels I have ever had.
Overall a very flavorful beer, pretty good balance of flavors. My only suggestion would be to tone down the sweetness just a touch, other than that, a well above average example of the style.

Dark brown/black body with flecks of white floaties on top; reddish brown head vanished before I could snap the pic, leaving no cap, ring nor lace; no legs on swirl. Strong peanut butter nose; smells like a Reese’s Peanut Butter Cup. Semi sweet milk chocolate; tons of peanut butter; tastes just like Reese’s, nothing more, nothing less. Medium plus body; smooth silky feel; moderate minus carbonation; no warmth from 8.9% abv. Overall, a nice sugary stout without being cloying; tons of peanut butter, nothing artificial about the feel or taste; one of the best non barrel aged peanut butter stouts I’ve had to date, although the floaties are a bit off-putting.
