Pours like used oil. Thin lacing. Intensely coffee forward nose, slightly astringent sip. All that said, I enjoyed sipping on this as it warmed in my glass.

Poured at 55 degrees, black liquid with ruby edges; some clarity under a fast fizzy reddish tan cap that began to vanish by the second pic, leaving no retention, lace and only the thinnest of incomplete rings; no lace or legs on swirl. Some espresso on nose with a whisper of vanilla. Taste is Vanilla, mild roast coffee and cocoa nibs; no bitterness; mineral/metallic finish. Medium minus body, moderate carbonation; no warmth from 11% abv. Overall this stout is ok; it feels thin for the abv, and there is something artificial and/or metallic in the taste...I keep thinking “tinny”...not bad as there is vanilla and coffee flavors...a one and done.

Aroma is coffee, cream, dark malts and a hint of vanilla. The flavor is coffee, chocolate, dark/roasted malts, fruit and a a slightly earthy/acidic finish.

The coffee is in the background and the vanilla in the fore unfortunately. This therefore came across as too sweet. Not bad overall, the vanilla at least it did not taste artificial.

Canned 4/10/20; drank 5/16/20 @ the Yarchives.
Black appearance.
A rough pour yielded a nice, noisy dark khaki head which quickly dissipated; no lacing.
Fresh earth, burnt black coffee & vanilla extract notes in the nose.
Medium thick, sticky mouthfeel.
Vanilla extract, burnt black coffee & earth flavors up front; booze heat notes on the finish.
This is artificial tasting & harsh; a full pass for me moving forward.

Poured dark with one finger head that is soon lost. Nothing notable on the nose, basic imp. stout with some coffee. Tastes like chocolate, coffee, etc. there’s a thousand just like this. Still good. Feel is
Slick and oily. Honestly this is Just another coffee stout. Knock yourself out.
