Pours a nice, almost, pitch black color. There's a bit of a tan head, less than 1 finger. The head didn't last too long, and there's no lacing on the glass.
The aroma for this beer is kind of an earthy aroma. I also get hints of chocolate in the aroma.
Taste - A very rich combination of chocolate, semi sweet, combined with a nice creamy, lactose flavor. These 2 flavors really compliment each other well.
The body is nice and thick. It's creamy feeling from the lactose. There's not much of an alcohol burn going on here.
Very solid beer overall, and a pleasure to try.
