An Extremely dry, yeast driven, unfiltered saison brewed with a blend of three classic Saison strains. Hopped in the whirlpool with Amarillo and hallertau.
No temperature control on this one, fermented hot, yielding strong notes of pear, citrus and noble hop character.
Production time: 6 weeks.

Poured from a 16 oz can into a pint glass.

Pours a cloudy golden straw color with a half finger of white head. The head is gone in an instant, leaving some splotchy lacing as it settles into a thin ring.

The aroma brings notes of cracked pepper, lemon zest, grass, and sweet orange citrus before a wave of doughy malt on the back end. Faintly hoppy. Pretty good yeast presence.

The flavor brings lots of orange and lemon zest up front, followed by some spicy cracked pepper, grass, sweet bread, and piny hops on the finish. Very herbal. Subtle, but complex.

The feel is medium-light bodied with good carbonation. Nicely crisp and drinkable. Finishes exceptionally dry.

Overall, a nice little Saison that is drinkable as hell yet brings plenty of flavor to the table. It's nothing we haven't seen before, but it's still a good beer to have available.

Different experience with this beer than digboy - granted this is 2 or so months in the can judging by when the batch came out.
Poured from a can. Force-carbed saison in a can, ok, but I'll give it the benefit of the doubt. Appearance is ghostly haze, but generally very little yeast in suspension. Tall, whispy head that dies slowly with big bubbles and some lacing.
Nose is awesome for such a small beer - yeast-forward with savory spice and rich earthiness. Hops are in balance, lots of noble and citrus quality. Complex for a clean, low-abv beer.
Flavor is quenching with spritely carbonation. Little body, as its a "very dry" petit saison, but gosh I could drink this all day.
Feel is pleasant too, not slick or cloying, highly carbed and properly bittered.
Really happy about this canned offering and I imagine it'd be even more enjoyable if it were bottled and naturally carbonated. I'll take it as a Fall crusher from the can though!

Pours a pale, very hazy gold color with a bright white head. Aroma has yeast coming across mostly. Not sure what's behind it. Flavor is very yeasty as well. Some citrus behind it but coupled with the expe ted thinness of the body it is lost. I will put this down as a muddled flavor with too much yeast in it. Too bad. There are some great sessions in Portland but this is not one of them IMO.
